Hello friend,
Thanks for being here. I’m your music tutor, Clariane Liz Avila (or just Liz). MUSIKAVILA is a cosy home music studio in Sandringham and I’d like to invite you to a safe space where we can explore music together at your own pace. I’ve been teaching music to learners two years old and above for over 15 years across multiple countries. I have a Master’s Degree in Music Therapy from the University of Jyväskylä (Finland) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Major in Voice Performance, with minor in Piano (magna cum laude) from the University of the Philippines.
I believe that music is for everyone, and its positive effects on cognition, emotion regulation, and social wellbeing are well-researched. MUSIKAVILA is a space where every learner regardless of age, background, or neurodiversity is met with care, patience, and joy.
What makes MUSIKAVILA different? Every lesson is tailored to you, your goals, your personality and your journey. Each learner gets the attention, care and encouragement they deserve. Just you (and/or your guardian), the music, and a tutor who genuinely loves what she does.
Whether you're here for the joy of it, or simply to find your voice, I'd love to be part of your musical journey.
